Hi, I'm Pierre 👋 founder of VoltView. We are a Seed-stage startup with proven traction in the UK's commercial energy market. We've built our software service tackle real challenges in the sector, reaching product-market fit with steady revenue, zero churn, and growing enterprise interest. We're looking for a high-agency Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the services and infrastructure that power our product and API platform.

👥 Meet the Team

What you’ll be doing

• Design and build scalable backend services and REST APIs powering the VoltView platform and public/internal API suite (Site Management, Energy Consumption, Cost Analysis, Environmental Metrics, Utility Supplier, Bill Validation).
• Own and improve data pipelines for time-series energy data, batch and streaming ingestion, and storage for high-volume, low-latency workloads.
• Integrate with utility suppliers, meter feeds and third-party systems
• Implement and maintain bill validation and audit logic that detects billing errors and produces actionable alerts for customers.
